Wear & care

Make them last. Then wear them again.

With proper prep, each Clawz set lasts 2–4 weeks per wear and can be reused up to 5 times. Here’s the whole routine — application to removal to round two.

Application — the part that decides everything

Your kit includes everything below: glue, adhesive tabs, cuticle oil, a file, a cuticle pusher, alcohol pads, and instructions.

  1. Start clean

Wash your hands, then gently push back each cuticle with the included pusher. Press-ons should sit on nail, never on skin.

  2. Buff lightly

A light pass with the file takes the shine off your natural nail so the adhesive has something to hold.

  3. Dehydrate the nail

Wipe every nail with the alcohol pad and let it dry completely. Skin oil is the #1 reason press-ons pop off early.

  4. Dry-fit all ten first

Lay the set out and match each press-on to its nail before any glue comes out. Each nail should fit sidewall to sidewall — if you’re between sizes, wear the wider one and file the sides to fit.

  5. Glue, place, press

A drop of glue on your nail and a thin layer on the press-on. Slide it on at your cuticle line, angle it down, and press firmly for 15–30 seconds — no air bubbles. Prefer a gentler hold? Use the adhesive tabs instead.

  6. Give them a minute

Skip long showers, dishes, and baths for the first few hours while everything cures.

Getting 2–4+ weeks of wear

  1. Oil daily, water rarely

Rub cuticle oil into the skin around your nails every day — it keeps edges sealed and flexible. Avoid prolonged soaking and harsh chemicals; wear gloves for cleaning and dishes.

  2. Use your fingertips, not your nails

Nails are jewels, not tools. Opening cans and picking at labels is how sets chip and lift — for any set, press-on or salon.

  3. Catch lifting early

If an edge starts to lift, dry the nail and press it back down with a tiny drop of glue. Don’t let water get underneath.

Removal — easy, gentle, painless

  1. Mix a warm soak

Warm water with 1 part dish soap and 2 parts coconut or olive oil.

  2. Soak 15–20 minutes

Let the warm oil-soap mix work under the edges. No acetone needed.

  3. Wiggle, don’t rip

Gently wiggle each nail until it lifts and pops off. Repeat for all ten. If one resists, soak longer — removal should never hurt or take force.

The soak recipe
Warm water · 1 part dish soap · 2 parts coconut or olive oil · 15–20 minutes.

Forcing a press-on off dry is how natural nails get damaged — the soak is non-negotiable. Removal should be easy, gentle, and completely painless.

Reusing your set (up to 5 wears)

  1. Clean out the old glue

Gently file away excess glue from the inside of each press-on with an e-file. Slow and light — you’re cleaning, not thinning.

  2. Store them like art

Back into their box, away from heat and sun, so the finish stays flawless.

  3. Reapply as usual

Full prep routine every time: clean, buff, dehydrate, glue. Fresh application = another 2–4 weeks.
